LAS VEGAS -- Alcohol-related crashes are the second leading cause of death for teenagers. It's just one of many reasons a local law firm is empowering students to create public service announcements about the dangers of underage drinking and getting behind the wheel.
The "Students With A Cause" PSA contest was created by The Richard Harris Law Firm. Local high school students can create PSA's that are meant to encourage teens to abstain from underage drinking.
Entries must be turned in by Monday, May 31st. Anyone can vote on the PSA's entered and then a winner will be selected. Voting ends on June 2nd. The winner will get to choose between a new Apple Macbook or a $1,500 gift card to an electronics store. Their school will get $500 as well. The second place will receive a $500 gift card to an electronics store.
