LAS VEGAS – Nevada's foreclosure rate fell in February, but the state still had the highest rate in the country.

RealtyTrac reports 11,035 Nevada households were in some stage of foreclosure last month. That is a rate of one out of every 102 households. Arizona, Florida, California and Michigan also recorded high foreclosure rates. Nevada's rate represents a drop of 6.9% from January and a decline of 30% from 2009.

Las Vegas also led the nation in foreclosures among metropolitan areas despite a 9% drop in foreclosure activity from January. One out of every 90 valley households was in some stage of foreclosure.

Six of the 10 worst cities in the country for foreclosures are located in California and Florida.
