Researchers say they've found a connection between weight loss and the onset of Alzheimer's Disease. In their study, people in their 60's to 80's who are not overweight and show no symptoms of Alzheimer's are more likely than their heavier peers to have biological markers of the disease. The researchers at the University of Kansas emphasize.. the study reveals an association, not a cause.
Ironically, those who are overweight or obese in middle age have a higher risk.
